Crohn's Disease
A 23 year old female horse breeder had a 6 year history of Crohn's disease on presentation to Lancaster, with diarrhea 7 times daily and abdominal cramping. The physicians spoke with her by phone, prescribing herbs and TM, one month before her in-house program. She received a two-week program of takradhara (herbalized physiotherapy techniques) and special bastis (herbalized, lipid and aqueous enemas). By the middle of the week of bastis she had a reduction of pain and motions and she is currently symptom free on a maintenance ghee-based rasayana program.
